August 28 - "AN EVENING IN GREECE" ... The Arts Council of Chester County and Cyclone Restaurant present Chester's very first Greek Night on Saturday, August 28 from 7-10 PM at the War Memorial Building on Main Street in downtown Chester.  Enjoy an evening of authentic Greek food catered by Cyclone, plus Greek music & dancing, a live performance from young adults in Spartanburg's Greek community, and more! 
Mrs. Patricia Moore-Pastides, wife of the President of the University of South Carolina, will be the Honored Guest during Greek Night!  She will discuss her time spent in Greece and her new cookbook with traditional Greek recipes.  A book signing and "meet & greet" will be held during the evening.
The buffet menu includes a cheese & olive appetizer, Greek salad, dolmades, spanakopita, tiropitas, moussaka, pastitsio, pitas, leg of lamb with oven browned potatoes, and baked Greek chicken.  Desserts include melomakarona, kourabiedes, kataifie, and baklava.  Coffee and tea included.  Cash bar of beer & wine.

**Cyclone Restaurant will host free Greek Dance Lessons in their side room on August 8, 15, and 22 from 3-4 PM at their restaurant on 249 Columbia Street, Chester.  Milton Petrou and Cathy Poulos will teach traditional Greek dances!

September 9 - ARTIST EXHIBIT & RECEPTION ... Artist Jane C. Lee will exhibit her works for the month of September, with a free catered reception on Sept. 9.

October 7 - ARTIST EXHIBIT & RECEPTION ... Artist Lenore Barnett will exhibit her works for the month of October, with a free catered reception on Oct. 7.
